response to ellie's blog---completly giving up

As I was reading through people's blog entries, there seemed to be a common theme about the stories that news sources have been putting out, whether they were sloppy, or just non-newsworthy. Ellie's blog entry on this really stuck out to me because she really showed no mercy to the news sources because like she said, they know better than to publish stories like this. She gave examples of some stories that WHAS published that were violating the elements of journalism so much that she thought it was a joke. I agree with her that they shouldn't be publishing articles like these when there are way more important things going on that actually affected people's lives significantly. I think this is one of the most common problems in today's world of journalism.
