This Monday, our classes joined together to talk about recent events that happened this past week. Those events were very scary and eye-opening things. It made me see even more clearly about the real world we live in, what the people in power are doing for us, who's stopping these things from happening, and when is it going to end.
All these things that keep happening more frequently like shootings and bombings and kidnappings, it makes you really wonder will it ever get better?
But in that discussion on Monday, listening to my classmates speak on this, it was really inspiring. It showed how much power our generation has to change this. It showed how much our generation wants to change this even though they may be scared, it isn't like us to just back away from something like this. I think this class discussion was important because of how uplifting and inspiring everyone's comments were but I just wish more people could have heard it. And it shows that there is hope for all this violence to end.
